SH42026 Show Jumping Set

Rider is poised on a chestnut jumping horse ready to go over a fence. The set consists of jumper horse, detachable rider, and a base molded and painted to represent sand with an attached jump and an acrylic stand for the horse plus indentions to hold the horse’s back hooves. Although this is a toy, collectors are buzzing about the incredible detail Schleich has put into this piece. The horse has molded (not removable) ear and brow net, bridle, reins, saddle, saddle pad, and splint boots and all of the buckles and metal pieces are painted silver. The horse has carved hooves with painted silver horse shoes complete with clips! The rider is wearing molded hunt attire with helmet, jacket, breeches, and boots with spurs. The detail is incredible – right down to the belt buckle! Rider’s boots fit into the stirrups and his hands clasp loops on the reins at the horse’s neck. For display, the horse rests on the clear acrylic stand.
