To celebrate the 2008 Olympic year, Breyer created a very special, very limited series of models – The Medalist Series - on the new hunter pony mold (#712 Newsworthy).

The Medalist Series by Breyer honors the epitome of equestrian achievement. Breyer® is recognizing exemplary equine athletic accomplishments with a very special trio of authentic Breyer decorator models on the new show hunter pony. The Medalist Series features 3 different decorator colors: Gold Charm, Silver Charm, and Bronze Charm in a limited edition run of 350 models each.

Talented equine artist Sue Sifton created this delightful sculpture for Breyer, which depicts a pony jumping in perfect show hunter form. This portrayal of jumping excellence was then hand-painted in the highly prized Silver Charm color. Crafting only 350 pieces makes this Silver Charm model extremely collectible.
